• 03-032-SPA: Original part number for cylindrical lock outside trim positions using the Sparta FSIC lever.
• 09-332-SPA: Original part number for mortise lock trim applications. The 09 prefix in the legacy Schlage system identified mortise trim levers. Any specification or maintenance record listing 09-332-SPA is currently serviced with the 03-232-SPA.
• 03-332-SPA: Original part number for exit device outside trim applications. Any work order referencing 03-332-SPA is currently serviced with the 03-232-SPA.

All three installation types, cylindrical lock, mortise lock, and exit device, are served by the 03-232-SPA as the single current OEM replacement part number.

Standard Sparta FSIC Lever: Not Tactile

The 03-232-SPA is the standard Sparta FSIC lever with a smooth handle surface. It is not a tactile lever. The tactile version is the 03-232-8SP (Sparta Tactile FSIC Lever Less Core), which has a raised textured surface on the handle for hazardous area door identification. When replacing an installed Sparta FSIC lever, confirm whether the original lever was specified as standard or tactile before ordering. Installing the 03-232-SPA at a position that was originally specified with the tactile designation would result in a non-compliant installation at that door.

The 03-232-SPA is priced at the standard non-tactile rate, lower than the tactile 03-232-8SP. Both ship less core and require a compatible Schlage FSIC cylinder ordered separately.

NDE Series Coverage and Compatibility

The 03-232-SPA is compatible with ALX Series, ND Series, NDE Series, CO-100, CO-200, CO-200/250, AD-200/250, AD-300, AD-400, and AD-993-DT Dummy Trim Exterior. It is documented in five Service Manuals including the Schlage NDE Series Parts and Diagrams Manual. NDE exit device installations that used a Sparta FSIC outside lever and reference the legacy 03-332-SPA are currently serviced with the 03-232-SPA.
