Standard vs Tactile: 03-244-ATH vs 03-244-8AT

The 03-244-ATH is the standard non-tactile Athens Sargent KIL lever. The 03-244-8AT is the tactile version with knurled tactile grooves on the handle for ADA hazardous area identification. Both accept a Sargent conventional 6-pin KIL cylinder and ship less cylinder. Three key differences distinguish them. First, the handle surface: the 03-244-ATH is smooth, the 03-244-8AT has knurled grooves. Second, the NDE Series coverage: the 03-244-ATH includes NDE (5 Service Manuals), while the 03-244-8AT does not (4 Service Manuals). Third, availability: the 03-244-ATH is confirmed In Stock. When replacing a standard Athens Sargent KIL lever, confirm the original did not carry the tactile designation before ordering the 03-244-ATH.
