Both accept the Corbin Russwin J-CO6 6-pin FSIC core and supply less core. Two key differences separate them. First, the handle surface: the 03-266-ATH is smooth, the 03-266-8AT has a tactile grip. Second, the NDE Series coverage: the 03-266-ATH is documented in five Service Manuals including NDE, while the 03-266-8AT is documented in four Service Manuals without NDE. Confirm the original specification before ordering to avoid installing a standard lever at a position requiring the tactile designation.
