The Falcon 030729-000-70 is the OEM Outer Button Mount for Falcon T Series cylindrical locks, documented in the official Falcon T Series Parts Manual. The outer button mount is confirmed in the Trim Assembly position at the outside of the lock for T291 and T301 privacy functions only.

What the Outer Button Mount Does

The outer button mount is a Trim Assembly component that positions and holds the button mechanism in place at the outside trim position on Falcon T Series privacy functions. On the T291 (Privacy Hospital Lock) and T301 (Privacy Lock), the outside trim includes an emergency release opening that allows building personnel to release the inside push button from outside the room using a pin or small tool. The outer button mount holds the button assembly correctly within the outside trim plate so the emergency release mechanism aligns with the opening and functions as intended. When the outer button mount breaks or deforms, the button assembly at the outside position may shift out of alignment, making the emergency release difficult or impossible to actuate. Replacing the 030729-000-70 restores correct outside button mechanism positioning on T291 and T301 privacy functions.
