This is the base conventional format. If higher security is required - Primus sidebar, Primus UL437, or SL 7-pin format - the upgrade cylinders 20-739 (Primus), 20-539 (Primus UL437), and 91-027 (SL) use the same housing geometry for the CL3400/CL3600 series.

Schlage CL3400 and CL3600 Parts: Which Locks This Cylinder Fits

The Corbin Russwin CL Series is a family of Grade 1 cylindrical lever locks. The CL3400 and CL3600 are lever function variants in this series. Per the Allegion Competitive Cylinder Compatibility Sheet, the 24-139 covers four CL Series designations: CL3400, CL3500, CL3600, and CL3800. All four accept the same Schlage 24-139 cylinder geometry.

The CL3300 and CLX3300 are a related but different format - those use the Schlage 24-022, not the 24-139. Confirm the full CL series number on the installed lock before ordering.

Schlage Conventional Cylinder: Keyway Options and Upgrade Path

C Keyway (Standard) is the open Schlage Classic keyway, widely available and compatible with existing Classic Obverse Schlage master key systems. This is the correct option for facilities already running a Classic keyway Schlage system and wanting the Corbin Russwin CL locks to join that system.

C123 Keyway is a specific Schlage Classic keyway designation that may be specified for particular key control requirements. Confirm the existing Schlage keyway in use at the facility before specifying this option, as keyways must match across the master key system.
