The Von Duprin 6224AL is a closed-back electric strike for mortise locks without deadbolts or cylindrical locks used on 1-3/4" or 2-1/4" thick aluminum double-door applications. It accepts a 3/4" latchbolt throw and is designed as a retrofit for FA 310-2RF. The 6224AL is part of the Von Duprin 6200 Series and provides an electric release solution for compatible commercial door applications. Its 9" faceplate and 1-5/8" backbox depth are designed for the specified installation configuration.
